This isn't a news update so much as it is a heartfelt dedication to a website that through thick and thin has supported Fanglewurzle and the ideals behind it. From the very beginning Piano-tuts.net has befriended the website, and after a brief email discussion with it's owner publically listed Fanglewurzle as one of it's Friend sites.

I bought Arkham City today ( Or yesterday as is the point in case. ) and have been on and off playing through it. It's a great game. While this isn't a review, this front page article is just to let you know that ( In-case you hadn't heard. ) Arkham City is a great game. It combines the best part of the comic world of Batman with the dark and gritty world in the films to make a hybrid of the two, something fantastic but at the same time not totally unbelievable. It borrows a lot from several films, the main theme itself being Escape From New York, but instead of Snake Plissken bearing nothing but a stylish eye-patch, you are Bruce Wayne with the world's most advanced armory. That said it is all about Kung Fu, but it's still engaging.

The scenery is amazing. It's like nothing I've ever seen in pound for pound detail. Every texture is different, there are no big repeated buildings in the same way that there are no "This room is not a room." walls coated in doors. Everything has a purpose, and there are villains all over. There's no batception here, it's just all over cool. The side-quests are from what I can see at the moment a little repetitive, but that's the nature of the beast. The game is still golden because it has enough content and varied side quests that it makes it enjoyable.

So while this isn't a review, what do I think of it so far? Play it. And wait for my review.
